So Long 2020

2020 was the year of Hell for me.
Went to the Emergency Room 3 times this year.
I had Pancreatitis & Gall Bladder Surgery.
The Gall Bladder got infected & I had a abscess.
This wiped me out for about 4 months.
On the last visit, I had to share a room with a Homeless Crack Head.
Almost got evacuated from the Creek Fire.
Had bad smoke from Fire for about 3 weeks.
Had 100+ temps for about 6 weeks.
Covid 19 and shelter in place.
Threats of Power Outages from P.W.P.
The past month I have been feeling well.
Trying to get things done that I started before I got sick.
Things could have been worse.
I know some have had it worse than me.
I will be glad when this year ends.

Bernie

I think we could all list some B.S. about 2020, but it is nearly over, and new hope abounds for:

-Less political drama
-More restaurants open
-No more mask B.S.
-Vaccine with no side effects
-Better health for everyone
-Concerts, fairs, festivals, sporting events, family reunions resuming
-Term limits

I almost didn't set my clock back for the time shift. Wanted 2020 to be over as soon as possible.

Bernie..good attitude! Glad you're hanging in there.

Prayer and fasting bring spiritual and personal strength, and they make us appreciate blessings. I am hoping that in the latter half of 2021 folks can get that feeling of finishing a 40 days in the desert experience.

And I think the new normal will be different from the old normal.

For the first time in many years, I DIDN'T stay up until midnight to watch the ball drop in Times Square last year...I may be to blame for all of this !

I will be staying up this year !
