Wow! Gotta say she's well balanced.

Norm K 12-29-2020 09:44 AM

And relatively well proportioned, too.

She was born in Stuttgart. Impressive enough, but then hot too.

stevej37 12-29-2020 09:52 AM

At one point, she reminded me of the Progressive Insurance ads.

Artistic cycling is a niche form of competitive indoor cycling in which athletes perform tricks using customized fixed-geared bicycles.

The sport is a combination of cycling, gymnastics, dance and acrobatics. It is often referred as ‘Freestyle Cycling’ or ‘Cycling Ballet’ due to refined, elegance and creativity displayed by performers. In the competition, professional athletes perform before a panel of judges in five-minute rounds that includes 30 figures. (Stunts are called ‘figures’ in UCI competition). Each figure delivered by an athlete is evaluated on various parameters such as level of difficulty, balance, grace, form, strength, style and flawlessness.

Viola Brand is a 25 year old professional freestyle cyclist who was born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany. She started artistic cycling when she was 6 years old. Viola Brand is a two time Vice-World Champion with multiple European Championships under her name.

Major Achievements:

2nd place World championship 2017, 2016
European champion 2018, 2012
2nd place European championship 2010
4th place World championship 2015
5th place World championship 2014

I looked through the comments for where she is from...couldn't find it.
A lot of the comments are in some Asian language.

oops...I see now.

I saw that video a couple of days ago. How she gets over the handlebars is amazing. If I tried the same I would have a handlebar sticking up into where the sun don't shine.

I like that one better.

She scares me.

In post #6, Ellen says she is from Stuttgart. Strange, I knew how to spell it.

10 seconds in.

As my grandpa said when he caught me looking at his hidden, but not so hidden, Playboy magazine in 1965 (with the centerfold opened up but slid under the comfy chair by me......)

"It would take quite a man to handle that one".

I think he was trying to lessen my embarrassment.

31 years ago, I could do much of those tricks on my BMX. I had a few but my last was a skyway streetbeat. Then I turned 16 and got my drivers license.

I was not as fluidic as her, nor was I as captivating to watch (for some reason). I could not do the hand stands but the ‘Christ’ and other tricks are actually pretty easy. I tried some of this a few years ago on my sons BMX... it didn’t go well.

I had a friend who probably could have done everything she did. Often, he would use my bike in the gym before school (my skyway was fancier than his HARO)... he was a better freestyle rider than me.

I hope racerbvd chimes in on this thread, I know he used to ride BMX back in the day too.

And she wasn’t wearing skankdex. Not a real sport. 🤪🤪🤪🤪. Impressive stuff.

flatbutt 12-29-2020 03:37 PM

This one not so scary

She's also a Cyclist.
Vinnie posted a picture of a Biker.
Flat posted a picture of a Rider.

Hate to be the semantics Nazi, but there's really a difference! SmileWavy
