Seriously, I knew him when he got kicked down to the grammar school,(before he went to Eastside) he truly cared about the students.

They won't get Joe Who.

I knew nothing about him other than the movie. If half of the things he did in the movie were true he has my respect.

The movie did exaggerate. However he did expel the incorrigible students but not all in one day. He did chain the doors but removed them when challenged in court and he was not arrested. He did walk around with a bull horn and a bat but never threatened a student. Finally he did improve the school environment and student scores.


Most telling is that after he moved on the school turned to crap again and the city of Paterson lost control when the State took over.

Oh and Joe Mama!

He was the man. He was the parent many kids didn't have but needed. He was a good man.
