Scam call I just got. "We're sick of our police officers being attacked"... Then a sales pitch for money...

Me: Angry tone: "I am a police officer and you're a scam."

"I'll take you off our call list." click.

If only they would...

Nice, actually, they probably will. They don't want to piss off the cops since they could actually cause trouble for them. So if there's a chance that you're a cop, I suspect they won't call back.

No..I'm not a cop. I figure they're telling me lies, I have the right to answer in kind.

I also love going Joe Biden on the scammers wanting to fix my windows. I turn into a confused old man, telling them that I just replaced all my windows with double pane ones and they're all just fine. On the car insurance scams I have a 1963 Pontiac with only 422,000 miles. Medical insurance I'm either 100% healthy or have been given 3 months to live.

Right, I know that you're not a cop, but they don't know that. If they think it's slightly possible that you might be a cop, they probably won't call back.

When I get these callers I tend to just peak to them in improvised Chinese. Whether or not they're Chinese, they tend to call me some insensitive name and hang up on me.
