Will be a hot seller....:p:rolleyes:

Remember that words don't mean anything anymore, so the new Pinto could be a 2-door Ford Escape. ;-)

They say they aren't making sedans anymore, but I always wanted some sly boots to make a vanilla sedan based on the Mustang platform and call it the Ford Falcon. :D

Remind us all of a terrible, ugly car that no one liked.

Brilliant move, Ford.

Perhaps GM can make a new Vega truck.

Slap a 302-4bbl, 4 speed-9inch in it. Slap some mag wheels and wide gator backs on all 4 corners, dual exhaust, and it will be a runner!!!

Back in the mid '70's a friend of mine had a Grabber with a stock 302 and a 4 speed. It was a clean little car, he had it tricked out with Radial T/A's and some appropriate wheels. Cragar s/s maybe. Can't remember. Good stereo.
He kept it nice, though. I went skiing in that car many, many times. Decent little runner for what it was, not embarrassing to be seen in.

It’s possible some of the readers out there are drawing a blank on the Chevrolet Montana nameplate, so let’s kick things off with a little background. The Montana (also known as the Chevrolet Tornado in Mexico) is a front-engine, front-wheel-drive subcompact pickup sold in various markets throughout South America, and previously in South Africa. The first generation was produced between 2003 and 2010, while a second generation arrived in 2011. So then, we were wondering – what would a next-gen model look like? As such, we took out our digital pens and drew ourselves a rendering

To note, the current model is only offered with two doors, but for our rendering, we decided to see what it would look like in both a two-door and four-door configuration.

Nothing in the articles suggest import into USA/Canada but the pre-approved Cruze engine would make it easier.

Engine options are likely to include the turbocharged 1.4L I-4 LE2, the same engine found in the second-generation Chevrolet Cruze that’s good for 153 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic and manual are expected for cog-swap duties.
Nice renderings, and actually compact verses that thing Ford is putting out.

I understand that some didn't like the ever so slight slope in the Ranger's hood, too "car like". My brother called it ugly although he could not say why, didn't mention the hood but I know that's what he meant as it's the only real difference between the GM offering.

As seen in the spy photos, this new Ford has a flat truck hood, maybe it will "pick-up" those disenfranchised customers.

Uni-body. So it will have the towing capacity of a Ridgeline.

Read "Bronco Sport" based. Imo, should have been based on the Explorer driveline layout.

Following the Ford nostalgia DNA this should be Ranchero, not Maverick.

The new El Camino . . . . :)
