Viruses and bacteria have been a component of the planetary microbiota since the dawn of time. Humans are the ones late to the party. 380 trillion viruses inhabiting us, a community collectively known as the human virome. And thats not even the ones we have to worry about. We have a lot to learn.

Perhaps WHO should have specifically declared a novel and deadly virus has ‘escaped’ from a Wuhan bioweapon facility and demanded the entire world cease all travel to and from China instead of denying it and running interference.
