Another reason not to Valet Park

I noticed this last time I was in Vegas, from the "High Roller" Ferris wheel:

Looking around on Google Earth, it's pretty common for upper level parking decks.....

not in my experience and I only let that happen once. The kid brought my truck back smokin' and stinkin' of burnt clutch.

30 years ago a young valet instead of parking the car would actually drive the customer's car back to the customer's home.
Use the electric garage door opener and park in the garage.
Then rob the house and return to the restaurant before the owner finished his meal.
This young valet driver became a well known race car driver, he told the story to a friend of mine.

Garage
I was a valet at a nice hotel in Austin in college and yes I got the occasional 911, 944, Rx-7, corvette, etc sliding in the garage. Small 2 door front drives were the fastest tho.

I still give my cars to valets though, I figure they can’t drive it any worse than I do. Not the 930 unless it’s a dealer event and then it’s funny watching them try to drive it.
