Dang, I remember hearing that song. Wow, 1976. Thanks for posting it because I have no idea who they are? My parents never really listen to music, but hanging out with friends at our park at the end of our cul-de-sac, the older siblings always had their AM radio on. I have been looking or listening for some of the older songs from the 70's or even 60s to see if it takes me back to my childhood. Cool

Good question.

You could have done a hell of a lot better than this in 1976...

I hate that song like Jesus hates sinners. Now I have to go listen to the Ford Ranger song again to kill this fuggin' earworm

I never liked that song either & couldn't understand why anyone else would like it - but I really enjoyed the real afternoon delights from those days.

Wow 1976, I was turning 11, and on a long trip with my parents/brother visiting many of the Western National Parks. I remember hearing that song on my transistor radio on CKLW radio station, along with the Bay City Rollers, ABBA, and the BeeGees.

Similarly, I was 10. I think so many of the absolute monstrosities that we were pummeled with back then were because of payola.

Money, not talent drove the am radio.
