Equal number of pot workers as to car mechanics

Putting MI back to work! :)

“Since 2017, the U.S. cannabis industry has averaged 27.5% growth each year,” Leafly reports. “No other industry even comes close.”

We have only "medical marijuana" in Oklahoma. There are more pot stores per capita in Oklahoma than everywhere except a few counties in Oregon. There are more pot shops than McDonald's, Starbucks and Subway Shops combined.

One of my friends is a retired internist. He was curious about the process of getting a card so that he could get a prescription. He went to a local doctor that specializes in that. All he had to say was he was having headaches. He got a card. I have little doubt that recreational pot will be passed soon. As long as they smoke that stinky crap away from me I don't care. Few things stink more than stink weed.

My high school buddies kid is doing a 10 year stretch . He would shoot up to Michigan, and buy a bunch of pot, then bring it home and sell it on the dark web.
Apparently , he had an undergound uber service where, he would deliver you any substance you could ever want, and would also offer ride services .
He said pot in Michigan was cheaper than underground dealers here , and its only a 5 hour drive . I am pretty sure he was getting a 1/4 pound at a time . I don't know if there is a limit or not .

The cops all watch for cars coming back from Colorado and bringing back loads of cannabis products. It is common to see a car with two or three highway patrol cars and drug dogs and a car with no seats and getting searched on the side of the highway.

The intersection of I-40 and I-35 along with I-44 all meet up in Oklahoma City. Lots of drug traffic passes through. Some of it pot, but much is meth and coke.

The smart people, just send it by mail . Worst case scenario, you just get your package seized .

Usually by the postal workers, from what I've heard. Shippers need to hide what's in the box from the postal/UPS/FedEx employees more than from LEOs, who cannot possibly inspect the millions of packages that get shipped everyday now.

That is very true....no fear of getting caught.

The penalties of getting caught by USPS would be significantly worse, I'd suspect.

For the private shippers, I assume modern smuggling is part of their normal quarterly earnings.

I knew a guy who got caught driving significant quantity of pot (and a few other things) over the northern border but still managed to stay out of the clink.
If you are going to do something illegal, make sure you pay taxes on it..

^^^ What I meant to say was ....if a drug dealers package is intercepted by a worker, there is no way he is going to claim a loss.
