Humans are apes.

We are no more a monkey than a dolphin. Primate yea, but monkeys have tails.

We are indeed mammals like a monkey, but so are cats and dogs.

You are mistaken - take a biology course.

The Rover is bigger than a Jeep.

It carries a small helicopter and a number of advanced instruments, including the facility to capture samples (for a return mission that might complete in 10 years).

As long as some Martian life form doesn't vandalize it, urinate on the sensors, etc.

The drone it is carrying onboard is pretty interesting. The composite in the landing gear was designed and manufactured by a small company here in Mount Vernon WA that is owned by a couple friends of mine! They are pretty damn excited!

Seems amazing that with the atmospheric pressure that low that anything can fly.

Heinlein has a short story that with the air store in a moon colony, it would be kept at above atmospheric pressure. With higher pressure, it would allow humans to fly.
