Atlanta C&C....

Froze my petunias off on the drive down. 27F in the sun. My iPhone froze and I had to put it in my ski suit to thaw it out. Top down, windows up and heater on.

Anyways here are some pics.

I've never been to a C&C or really understood them. I can see cars like those at 3 in the afternoon and I'm waaaay too lazy in the morning to drive to a parking lot somewhere. I do like the 997 GT3RS, though.

3261 Peachtree Rd NE. Caribou Coffee. Didn't buy anything as there was no welcome wagon. Someone needs to do a little ... something... to promote the business. There is a Starbucks across the street.

Kind of show up and get what you can. The coffee shop participates very little. The freaking pisser was closed for "maintenance". I met one guy from the region. And a Pelican member.

The DE/AX dude named Mike. Nice guy. I left at 11. Did a burn at the exit. Probably banned until I die.

The schizzle C&C is "Octane and Caffeine" at another venue.

Yeah, for a car guy, living in LA is a voyeur's paradise. Even up here on the fringes of the SF Bay Area, it's not uncommon to see cars like Joe Bob posted driving around on a regular basis. Probably not the case in many other areas of the country though.

One of the nice things about our local C&C is getting to see some out-of-the-ordinary stuff mixed in with the usual bunch of newish exotica, hotrods, and muscle cars. I've seen a beautifully turned out D-Jag recreation, an old barn-find air-cooled Franklin, a few impeccably restored classic Packards, an all-original un-restored 289 Cobra, some JDM imports, and even a belly tanker lakes car show up at the local Starbucks. E-Type Jags, long-hood 911s, vintage Mercs, 356 outlaws and such are fairly common.

Here's a sample from the local C&Cs ↓

I don't think he has a top. Never seen a pic with one anyway and he's had that car forever.

Nice pics. Around here, I can go for days and the only Porsche I see is in my garage. Even when I do see one its usually an SUV.
