I've only collected one glove in my lifetime. A wilson "bob feller" glove that my dad gave me for my 9th birthday. Somebody will probably toss it after I'm gone, but it's a keeper for me. Found it cleaning out the old house after mom died.

Work Gloves? I just toss 'em when they're worn out...

What is the deal with right gloves disappearing?

Agree, They should sell them in 3s, 2 right and one left. ;)
You buy them in pairs but end up with 1 right and 8 left gloves.

Right hand gloves are like 10mm sockets.

How do they not have holes in them? I wear holes in my gloves in less than a year.

I have one pair of original Well Lamont gloves made in America quality that are 35 year old or so. Well um, broken in. I have several crappy knock off Chinese made versions of them that I received as gifts over the years that use and discard when I am working in a muddy hole.

I have several pairs of "winter" gloves in the pockets of my winter coats. Those seem to last forever.

gloves are like socks, you always lose one of the pair.

I hate when I lose only my right socks....and my right-handed 10mm sockets

As they develop holes they get thrown out. I must have bought more than 20 pairs over the years.

I had a pair of US issue Aviator gloves. The real deal from the mid 80s... I lost them during my last move. :(

And another thing... you guys that live in warm enough climates to not need gloves 1/2 the year make me sick...

Because it’s GD cold here half the year and because I have a farm, I have to wear gloves half the time I am doing anything outside. And you need certain gloves for certain things...

Fence repairs and fencing... welding gloves.

Working outside in the summer - Costco Deerskin work gloves or mechanics gloves.
Working outside in the fall - heavy duty snowmobile gloves or retired ski gloves.
Welding - welding gloves.
General work in the shop - mechanics gloves or no gloves.
Working cattle - season dependent.
Pulling calves - armpit high disposables.

I literally have 3 pairs of gloves in my tractor and 3 pairs of various gloves (actually 2 pairs and 2 spare rights) in my pickup.

I hate wearing them but I’ve had frost bite in my fingers before so they are sensitive to cold now.

I throw them away when I wear them out
