very very over priced

decent E-bikes are 10% of that price

hcoles 03-06-2021 12:52 PM

Cool. Lost key will cost $285 thank you.

stevej37 03-06-2021 12:55 PM

I agree..they are priced out of the range for most bikers.

I give them credit for building a bike that looks like a normal bike..but sleek...not chunky-like most e-bikes.

Seeing if you pre-order, you can get a Harley Ebike for only $5K.......

I wonder how Harley makes their Ebikes sound 'potato, potato, potato'??:D

Trek e-caliper xcountry bikes cost $6-13,000.
Specialized new road bike is $13000
High end bikes are expensive.
Are they worth it? Not to most.
Most people don't think porsche cars are worth it either.
gary

"Real" e bikes cost that much or a bit more. If you like bling, then get the P-bike. I would buy REAL e bike then the Porsche. That's jsut me.

I've only had my e-bike for two weeks now. Happy with it. Propella.
I just wanted to show what Porsche came up with.

I am glad you are enjoying the ebike. They are a lot of fun. Riding that thing is better then sitting at home drinking beer. Well, maybe not .SmileWavy

Porsche always had a bicycle in reason years. The ebike is newest fad but I think its here to stay. I bought one for my kid, his older brother ended up riding it all the time. Its great. If I ride it, I finally get to enjoy the scenery other then trying to kill myself hauling ass out and back.

LOL

maybe they lob off a few lobes on the armature. ...so the bike doubles as a giant vibrator. Should sell well with women.

stevej37 03-06-2021 04:29 PM

^^^ Some cars make artificial sound...no reason a bike couldn't also. :D

"motor support for up to 15 mph"

if I pay 10 grand for something, I'll want it to work at whatever max speed I can get it.
Not just 15 lousy mph's

There is a sucker born every minute.

stevej37 03-07-2021 08:26 AM

^^^ Yeah...but it says 'Porsche' on the side. :)

My neighbor was going to Big Bear to spend some vacation time with family. He stopped by Costco and saw they had a Jetson e-bike for just over $300. He bought it and was going to return it after the vacation (Costco has a great return policy).

he liked it so much he is keeping it. I guess the family rented bikes while they were up there and they were $50 a day and they had to wait for bikes to be returned. He figures he's already gotten his moneys worth.
