Photoshop Experts? Thugs Causing Trouble at my Plant Yesterday
 

I had a strange situation at work yesterday. An employee came to my office and told me that two guys were in our parking lot harassing employees and truckers as they were trying to drive into our lot.

I went outside and see these two guys out in the street filming our plant. I walked up to them and asked what they were doing and the guy immediately pulled out pepper spray and stated he would pepper spray me if I came any closer. I told him to back the $%$# up and get off our property.

The guy proceeded to call names and claim he was attacked. I called the police and while I was on the phone with the police, this thug also called the police and claimed I tried to break his camera (that didn't happen, and we have 175 cameras on our property which prove that).

The police came and questioned these guys and they said they were exercising their free speech and auditing the world. They also started yelling at the cops and were saying things like "why are you being so rude piggy" and "this is ADA property so we don't have to leave".

After speaking with the cops, I suggested we just go inside, cops leave, and we don't give these guys any more attention. After this, I watched them on camera proceed to the plant down the block.

Today, I see that they posted the video on YouTube and their channel is Kern County Transparency. They have hundreds of videos harassing private businesses and over 72k followers. It looks to me like they are trying to incite violence to maybe get a "payday" when they can provoke someone into doing something bad.

It would be interesting to see how I could "dress up" their photos and maybe send them a framed picture - if I could ever find out their address.

Just to add: I had am employee park directly in front of them so they could not escape until the police arrived. The were demanding that the police give me a ticket but they informed them that we could do whatever we wanted since it was private property.

These guys have not fking thing better to do but are blood suckers of our society. Yep, pay no attention to them. Looking for payday is correct.

farkin weird. I don't understand people.

I would have thought some sort of restraining order type of thing "you can't come on our property" could have been filed. But I guess that would provide fuel for their fire. Better to not feed the trolls.

Just checked out the youtube channel. What a waste of air those two are.

I don't know if they actually stepped foot on our property. I was just told that by an employee and camera footage shows them in the street. However, they were blocking access to our drive way. I do have them on our lawn which is our property but outside our gates.

Looking at their Facebook page they are anti police, among other things.

They look to get a rise out of people and then capitalize on the situation. Best thing to do now is to ignore them. Yesterday, you handled it properly.

We run into this all the time, they are trying to get a reaction so it can be posted online.

Your best bet is fencing with no trespassing signs.

Ah, yeah, they are just smart enough, I guess. It sounds like they need to end up in the same hole as a bunch of the permit inspectors from the other threads.

Also i would not waste a second more on these guys, that is what they want you to do.

Wow, tough guy with pepper spray and a camera. Pretty sure if they keep looking for trouble they will find it. Is it legal out there to threaten somebody with pepper spray? The state pen probably is their address, or should be.

They're just morons copying people who deal with real issues.

They will get bored and go away once their attention span has been passed (a couple of hours). Plus this rent-a-crowd type person always finds something new and different to be concerned about.

Well, over the past hour, we have had about 30 calls to our switchboard with people asking about the incident. I suspect they have posted our number somewhere and their minions are following orders.

There should be a new video uploaded soon as they went to the plant next door right after us.

I had no idea there were people out there like this. All I can say is Karma will kick in eventually.

If they show up again - pull out a lawn chair and just film them back. :)

In California, it is illegal to have the front plate on the dashboard. ... The CA vehicle code not only specifies that a vehicle issued two plates has to display both plates (5200a), but also specifies that the plates must be visible and securely attached certain distances above the ground to the outside of the car.
