I've got an earworm!

"Diary" by Bread. I have no idea how it got in there and I can't make it go away.

I may have to start drinking again if this lasts much longer.

Never heard it called that. Woke up the other morning with a song in my head I haven’t heard in at least 20 years. Chevy Van. Couldn’t get rid of it for anything.

I'll share this one with you. It's been with since 5:30 this morning.

"Put on your bobby socks, Baby
Roll up your old blue
Jeans
There's a band playing down at the armory
That knows what rock 'n roll really means "

You can thank me later.

Happens to me all the time. I always work as part of a 2 man crew, loud environment so you have to speak loudly right into your co-workers ear muff. For what ever reason I had Jingle Bells playing non-stop in my brain so I sang it in my partners ear muff, I could see him mouthing the words hours later, went up and started singing along right in time with him. I thought it was hilarious as was the cussing he gave me.

Dashing through the snow in a rusty Chevrolet, or the fields we go laughing all the way, ha ha ha bells on bob tail's ring.........

Hey Mickey...go ahead, try to get it out of your head after watching. Believe it or not, she was 39 when she made this...wearing her 1961 cheerleaders outfit.

Thanks for that! Have you seen her dance at 74 years old? Never saw anything like it... she’s ageless.

Great link! Yes, she's amazing. At 75, out dancing pro dancers less than 1/3 her age..

Looked her up on Wiki...she turns 78 in September. Lemme tall ya, none of the cheerleaders in my old school circa 1961 came close...

What? You might as well of just said something by The Archies.
The cure for an earworm is something good, not more awful.

Stuff like this is what I need to cure an earworm: Turned up to ten.

One of the most memorable times in my life was when I was 19 years old with my first true love and "the beast of bread" playing in the 8 track.
