Computer Question
Does anybody know how I go about setting up my PC so that I could type in Ukrainian or some other language for example: renaming an MP3 file. I can type in an different language in Word and Excel and such but not anywhere else.
I'd appreciate any help! Thanks! |
Wouldnt you need a Cyrillic keyboard to type in Ukranian?
|
Or a keyboard remapping.... which is really easy to do in Linux (lots of internationalization), but not sure how to do on a windows machine or a mac...
|
I have a keyboard-cover that has ukrainian letters on it, and it works fine, but thats not the problem.
|
I have quite a few Russian/Ukranian friends who can translate for you.
|
What OS are you running? In Windoze, there are language packs for various other locales. There's a guy at my work that had his PC set up for Bengali.

I am running windows millenium. I have the language pack with different languages. I set it to Ukrainian and I can type in Ukrainian in Microsoft Word and other sismilar programs but when I open a folder in explorer and try to rename a file in Ukrainian, all I get is a bunch of symbols and wierd characters.

Thats the same kind of crap that I get when I try to rename my mp3 songs on my computer in Ukrainian or Russian. |
Возможно Вы должны удалять языковые пакеты и устанавливать им снова?
Вы могли также решать устанавливать ваш компьютер в мусорном ящике. Quote:
