US pulling out of Saudi Arabia
Anyone else glad to see the US pulling out of countries? The US force is becoming more mobile, and they can kick anyone's arse in a skip and a beat. We don't need huge installations in Germany and other counties, feeding their economies with millions of dollars. Why not keep the soldiers here and keep the money stateside?

Yeah, I'm glad to see it.
It's funny, when the bases are there, the locals ***** and moan about any downside. Then, when the US pulls out, the local economies tank, and a whole bunch of rethinking goes on about that big business that used to be there.

Human nature Island, human nature. Gotta ***** about something.
Military spending has never struck me as a particularly good use of resources anyway, so anything that might reduce it is very good by me. Hey, I have waded into a thread and haven't criticised America once!
