Thank you Pfizer and AstraZeneca.

Thank you Pfizer and AstraZeneca for developing the covid vaccines.

Thanks to the scientists, lab techs and all those people who spend long days and nights working on a solution for us.

Sure the whingers think it's not good enough or you could have done better. But thanks from 80% of us.

Bill, some peoples always have their panties in a twist...

And thank-you Moderna too!

And J&J

And hopefully soon Novavax

And we cannot leave out Sputnik V! It has been tested to be just about as effective as Moderna/Pfizer.

And SCREW any of the Chinese crap!

JackDidley 03-14-2021 08:38 PM

Id take a shot from each to get past this covid thing. Thanks to all.

Thank the American people for paying for a multitude of vaccine production before the recipes had been tested.

And thank the 45th American President that made that key part happen.

Headline the other day. Woman died four days after her second Pfizer shot. Fifth graph below the fold. Lady was hit by a bus crossing the street.

Yes. Thank you Trump for "paying" Brittish-Swedish biotech company Astra Zeneca to make Covid vaccines to save us from what was "just a common flu". /s

Thank you Pfizer, for 20 great years!

wdfifteen 03-15-2021 02:30 AM

And thanks to the many world leaders who committed to buying the vaccines and the citizens whose tax dollars paid for it.

DanielDudley 03-15-2021 02:54 AM

Let's thank Dolly Parton while we are at it, for her contribution to the Moderna vaccine.

I'm on the schedule to get my first shot this week. I suppose it won't be the J&J shot, as I have two appointments scheduled.

As Bill Douglas says thanks to the makers of the vaccine for covid. Just got my first Pfizer vaccine done. The last significant vaccine done was polio back in the 1950's. Having said that I must have had the smallpox vaccine done sometime. So far so good.
:)

Looks like some countries aren't too thankful for the AZ vaccine.

Read this the other day about the AZ vaccine.

Don't forget the Human genome Project and all the other research that enabled the manipulation and reading of the genomes of us and the virus.

I'm getting it tomorrow. I heard today that only European sourced AZ vaccine is under scrutiny. The product made in India is still being used.

It will be interesting to see what they do for people who've had one dose of AZ, but can't get the second.

I got the AstraZeneca vaccine earlier today at Costco. So far so good, no reaction.

And that is the key element in these vaccines being in people's arms in earliest 2021. Having the foresight and decision making ability to make it possible for the great American/German pharma companies to meet this awesome challenge.

petrolhead611 03-16-2021 11:48 AM

British-Swedish first. And the incidence of blood clotting in 27 million injections is far far less than would have occurred anyway in people of that age group.

Nope, just my arm is a little sore. I get the second vaccine in 4 months.

Racerbvd 03-16-2021 05:39 PM
