who actual look at thread dates?
 

The Cayman thread got me thinking. I have never look at such thing. I speed read through them, if interesting, I reread carefully. Amazing how many people actual look at the date before they post. I sure feel like a dumb azz.:(

Don't feel bad. I'm sure many of us have been caught...and more than once.

Just look at the classifieds when a noob is looking for parts. lol

Oh, I don't feel bad. I am just shocked that people actually look at those things. It sometime takes me a few days to notice I have a PM.

I don't miss anything...dates, post count, handle, and even the inflection of the comment(s)....you can usually tell if you're dealing with a troll or not......

I look at dates but I also do a search and try to continue a thread even if it’s a few years old if the topic is the same.

That's a good practice in terms of someone doing a search for a particular topic. All of the replies in one thread, or at least fewer threads.

I do look at thread dates but Cayman threads never get old...

I look at dates and such. I lot of the time I see if someone is still on the site. Some guys with 1000's of post just go away.
