^^^ Likewise here...in my 25 years of ownership, the SC has only been in the shop once.
That was for the head stud repair. Everything else...I did myself.

They build a pretty solid car, I say.
When we pulled the 993 tt out of my friend's storage, as it sat for 17 years. I was jsut happy that he decided to sell it to me. We had it tow to his shop then we started poking around to see if it cranks over with a new battery. It sure did. We decided to pour 5 gal of gas in the tank and see if it would start. After a few hard cranks, it started to sputter and spitting then came to life. I even got to rev it for the first time. From there, I had all the rubber hoses and many other parts swapped out. It runs and idles smoothly for the past couple year I have had it. |
