Stupid Stupid Steelers! Darnold goes to Carolina

Why am I saying stupid Steelers you ask? Because Darnold would have been in a GREAT position in the steel city. One year to just watch and learn and then take over in 2022. Carolina didn't have to give up much for a young QB who was picked #3 in the draft a few years ago. The guy was in a bad spot with the Jets.

Darnold can play. It is a team sport dependent on coaching and good management...the Jets had none of those traits.

Part of why I thought he'd be a good fit in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are nothing if not rock solid when it comes to coaching. I'm not a huge Mike Tomlin fan but the Steelers do not fire a head coach. There is consistency in the organization. I think Darnold could have benefitted from that.

I agree.

I really don’t have an interest in any team other than the 49’er’s, which is more sentimental, so I follow folks like Sam...I like redemption stories in the league.

Can you imagine being an eligible College senior, who is talented enough to maybe be picked in the first or second round of the draft...

And finding out your were going to the Jets?
