Anyone recommend a company to refine auto loan
I wanna refinance my truck loan soon.....not using the local credit union who are bastards
anyone ever use any of the usual suspects that nerdwallet or whoever recommends on their top 10 list with good results? All I read is horror stories of delay and run-a-round and emails back and forth for months type of bull shnit with all of them

Why not join another credit union that will take you? Google rates and see if the best ones that you can join.

yea I hear ya - but
im just hoping someone on here could say, I used XX and they were great and all I had to do was XX and YY and Z and it took 10 days from beginning to end There was a time on this forum when I would expect some old rich geezer to tell me - what kind of an idiot finances a vehicle - I ONLY PAY CASH I get that too. but some would say i am the very definition of an idiot when it comes to this crap. Sometimes I drive onto a car lot at lunch because Im bored and leave with a new vehicle...wife doesnt like that --Ive done that 4 times in the past 10 years. Oooops

Try PenFed credit union. They had good rates when I was shopping around and they seem to qualify you for special deals on a lot of things. I belong to them and also Redwood credit union, who I've used over many years, but I doubt you would qualify for them if you're in NY.

Best CU rates I've seen were with InFirst in VA.

That's my choice. Are you a vet? Lot's of vet only CUs and Insurance companies willing to take your money. Also, your house....if an owner your Lein holder may have some options. Mini refi to cover the vehicle loan.

Oh well. Virtually any bank is available in the US if they have online access. Do a Google. I use WESCOM in Pasadena CA.
Tell them Joe Bob sent ya....I think I actually get a referral fee. Take a look at their website. If you go with them, I'll give you my real name via PM. Pretty sure you have to have to open an account like a checking or savings when you apply. My SIL is a Branch VP for Wells Fargo....also in Kommifornia....

Don't need to be a vet for PenFed.

How far upstate?
Just redid my truck with HVCU - or more accurately bought out the lease. Took 3 days, two calls from them and one email - mostly because it was over the weekend. If you are in their area they’ve been ok for my needs. Rate was better than anywhere else. |
