Scored Some Cool Models

Got these from a local auction/estate sale house.
Custom Corvette, based on the Mako Shark Corvette, show car from the 60s. The model is from the 80s.
1941 Willy's Coupe, Swindler II of Stone, Woods, & Cook fame. The model has a 1989 date on the box and instruction sheet.
1933 Ford, ZZ Top Eliminator. The model has a 1985 date on the box and instruction sheet. I paid 11 bucks each and they are all complete kits!!! Looks like I will be busy for a while!!! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6e9c1c20e3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...79697a3237.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1b6d9b01c5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2b3bc626f1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...40e2e96c6b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...747a477928.jpg

Color me jealous!

I recently finished a 930 model that was started in 2012 (a mini version of mine) then immediately went out and purchased a Korean War iteration of the F4u Corsair. Knocked that one out a bit faster.

Would love to find some of that old school stuff.

Now there's a memory. I built the Revell Stone, Woods and Cook Willys kit when it was first issued in the 60's. And the original MPC Mako Shark.

Cool!!! Would ya happen to still have them?

The Custom Corvette model was missing the decals but I wasn't going to use them, I would like to build it more closer to the original car, may do a silver exterior with a steely blue interior, something more classic looking to bring out the lines of the body.

Nice find! I've been hoping to replace my old NASA models with a "find".

There are a ton of the old kits on eBay, apparently people bought them in their youth and never built them?

I’ve been buying up the old Testors/Fujimi kits of cool exotic cars. Probably am “sitting” on 50 or so kits in anticipation for my early retirement in a couple years- something to do during the long winters!

I had the same plan. Two years into retirement and I realized I would never build them. Sold a couple of dozen car models on eBay.
I still have a full set of Battle of Britain planes that think I might still build. I built a set 40 years ago that I was really proud of and my cat destroyed them.
