I rolled out the kerosene "smudge pot" for the apple blossoms tonight.

Spring?

I can ship anyone that wants one a big box of:
- 5% humidity
- 30-40 mph winds
- eye-cream for your now chapped and bleeding eyeballs
- a fire extinguisher for maybe in case you even think of rubbing your hands together
- a yellow-haze on every surface, full of magic particles that are just waiting to jack you up (OK, maybe that's just me)

Seriously, this was not what they advertised when they said "come to New Mexico - it's great!"

But it's not all doom and gloom, it's still warm here. A topless 18 year old blonde girl came out of the surf this morning and my two dogs ran up to say hello. And I tought it was polite to chat about water temp's etc ;)

36 outside this AM here in Metro ATL! It's been highs in the low 80's already.

We have frost up here in north Georgia , my thermometer says 29 degrees .

Did they shut down the highways and have businesses close? :)

Snow on the ground a few days ago, and in a few days supposed to hit 80F degrees.

Good news is, the buds and blossoms seem to have survived the short term cold snap.

It is cooler this week.
Solar heating and a pool cover helped warm up the water.

Taken ten or so years ago about this time of year - I haven't seen it like this luckily again but it was a proper 1% RH. I didn't even think that was possible...

My outside thermometer shows 47degrees right now.
With the 12mph wind...it's not fun being outside.
