I must be one of the few that doesn't mind start stop, or our works better. Once your foot starts moving on the brake the engine starts and is ready to go by the time your foot gets to the gas.

I like sunroofs too. And convertibles. And headlights that come on with the wipers.

Auto off high beams are nice, my DD has those.

Rain sensing wipers that adjust by speed is also nice.

Agree with Paul, heated seats and as I get older a heated steering wheel is nice.

Along with all the other wiper features mentioned, I like that some cars will switch from continuous wipe to intermittent when you come to a stop, then return back as soon as the car moves again.

I think that memory seats/mirrors are a nice option to have...especially if you share the car with someone who has different preferences.

Something I'd like to see in all cars is an internal switch that would power the windows for 15 sec. so you could open/close them without having to dig out a key. Do the newer key-stays-in-your-pocket ignition switches allow you to operate features as soon as you sit in the car?

Apple CarPlay/ Android auto. Sooo much better than built in nav systems. I added it to my truck and will add it to any vehicle I buy if it doesn’t come with it.

I love that. Have it on my truck and 4 runner. Not sure about the Cayman? Maybe? Never used it. You are talking about once the key is pulled after shut off, the windows can still be operational for a length of time? I often forget to close the window until I pull the handle to get the door open. Hit the switch widow closes without having to get key in again.

Heated seats are nice. Both of our cars have them and one has the heated steering wheel, although I often forget about that. My wife uses the heated seats often. I use them, but very infrequently. They are nice to have, but I could live without them. If I lived in a colder climate, I would probably feel differently.

No, not quite. If I enter a car and want to open/close windows, I need to plug the key in to turn things 'on'. Some fobs will run the windows remotely, but they still need to be with you. I'd like a button that'll put power to the windows momentarily so I don't need the key to work them.

I was wondering if newer cars with key-less ignition automatically turn stuff 'on' as soon as you get in.

Agree with the backup cam.

Will add, unless someone already has and I missed it, a heated steering wheel. If I had to choose between heated seats and a heated wheel, I'd go wheel without pause.

I like the backup camera in the Tundra for hooking up a trailer, otherwise I ignore it. I feel more comfortable using the mirrors old-school style. The camera screen dims to the point of not being useful if the lights are on anyway. I find it distracting if I'm backing into a parking space. If the tailgate is down you get a good view of the road under the tailgate.

I agree with my Tundra, but, never ignore the sensors.

I was always a fan of the Canadian law that required manufacturers to automatically turn on the headlights when you turned on the wipers.

TPMS.

Improper tire pressure is a very frequently overlooked safety risk.
