And I thought red was the Ferrari color.

When I was looking, my criteria was anything but red.

Me too. Which is why I purchased an Albert Blue 911.
Which was repainted Guards Red.

OTOH "Pull me over" red can now be more accurately called "Don't force me into opposing traffic while texting" red.

Aubergine is one of the best colors for a longhood, right up there with Gemini Blue and Signal Yellow.
Beautiful car, post some more pics if you have them.

My top ten choices don't even make the list. Is it me, or everyone else?
Albert blue is a great color, as is the eggplant. Saw an aubergine 914 one time, beauty Last edited by Tobra; 04-22-2021 at 09:47 PM.. |

Aqua blue, sort of turquoise, would be my favorite. I changed the color of my SC from Bronze metalic (brown) to silver which I like.

My car is Guards Red and it’s Spectacular. 😀😀🇩🇪🇩🇪
It’s probably top 3 for me. Mexico and Orange are right are there. |

likes to left foot brake.

Appears Boomers still like a shiny black car but the younger gen likes to virtue signal by keeping a dirty green car.

Neither my wife nor I like any blue car. I don't mind some greens. She likes Guards Red and had 4 Porsches that were GR. She still has a GR Boxster that counts in the 4. I had 3 black ones and one of those, a 914, was painted GR for her.
When at a show, I'm attracted to any color that works for that car. My truck is black and due to its size I don't care for that at all. The Jag is white and shows dirt easily, but not as much as black. The right silver is an easy car to care for and would be my first choice for a daily. One of my favorite cars is an MG TC. I saw one in red and it was stunning but mine would be BRG, for sure. With tan leather and top. I have seen some older Euro cabriolet cars that were midnight blue with a tan top that looked classy. Again, it's the car that can wear a color well while some should just not be in certain colors. A light blue XKE, or any vintage Jag, would be awful IMO. |

Always a fan of Viper Green, but my all time favorite is Cobalt Blue. Especially in a 968
