stimulus plus-up payment.

It looks like I'm eligible. Won't be much.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/already-got-third-stimulus-check-225200806.html

As the IRS explained in a news release on Thursday, these plus-up payments provide "supplemental" support for Americans whose third stimulus check had been based on information from their 2019 income tax returns, but who are now in line for a new or larger amount based on their 2020 returns.

My AGI was much higher on 2019 than the 2020 return...due to stock sales.
It resulted in my stimulus check being lowered by about $300
Makes me eligible.

At what point does stimulus = welfare? Considering how many places are hiring and how many business owners I know that can’t find people willing to work, I think we are definitely there.

I'd have been happy getting a slight tax break. THAT would have been a nice stimulus.

I didn't get the free cheese, either.

'now hiring' signs all over the place here. (even in private home lawns)

Not many hiring in the PNW. Been doing limited side gigs for months now.

"When does the IRS send out plus up payments?"

Once a recipient’s tax information has been updated, the IRS will send out plus-up payments automatically.(Remember, plus-up payments only apply to the third stimulus check, not the first two.) A plus-up payment will arrive in the same way as the original third stimulus check.

Same situation here. Plenty of company's hiring, no one to hire.

I’m sure it’s industry specific. But in the service industry, which is also most of the lower paid folks who have been receiving the full government cheese payments, basically everybody is hiring. Probably not applicable to the lockdown states though, since a lot of those businesses might just never open up again.
