everytime he asks me for help, I tell him I don't know how to help. :D

he thinks I am a brilliant as he is!! hahhaa.. he just came to my office to ask me if his smaller car's battery was 9volts. I said, "no your car is 12volts"..

"no, not the big work truck, my small personal car - isn't it 9 volts?"

"oh, I don't know anything about cars?"

"can you help me jump start my car?"

"no, I don't know how to jump start a car - ask someone else"

My Honda Fit came with a battery that looked like 9 volts. It was square and only 6X6"
They do that to conserve space.

Since then..I have replaced it with a full sized battery. (had to replace the air intake to do it.)

You should have told him it's 9 volt but metric 😁 . Sit back and watch head explode !

Must be related to one of my employees. Yesterday, my AP clerk told me she is looking for a new car. She said she has to hurry because the lady at the car wash told her that her car will only go to 299,999 miles and then will stop. She currently has 292,000 miles and is now in a panic that she needs to do something before she is stuck on the side of the road.

debatable.

It's a 12V battery, but 1/4 of the system is negative ground so he would need a 9V to jump start. I thought Pelican was some kind of car site, can't believe I have to explain the basics like this.

To be fair, my 356 w/ its 6v electrical system suffered from a Turkey and had a 8v battery installed... instead of ya know, cleaning contacts and connections and such.

I help everyone, even the neighbor who is a total b*tch. That's because I'd rather be me than them.

One of the chicks I used to work with stopped to get gas at a local service station and had the attendant pump in the gas because she did not want to risk breaking a nail. The attendant figured out right away she was clueless. He pointed at the exhaust pipe and told her to pay attention to the exhaust tip as he worked the throttle and of course water was coming out.

He told he she would need to replace her entire exhaust system because it was waterlogged, and he fuel system was contaminated with water. She was in a panic, but already late for work so she said she would have to come back.

She was crying when she came in to work. I asked what was wrong and she told me about the water. I assured her that mechanic was a lying jerk, and all cars dribble water as part of the combustion process and her car is fine.

She called her boyfriend, who was a large very fit man. He went to talk to the mechanic and explained that trying to rip off his girlfriend was not nice.
