New Amazon Prime service?

In Florida this week....forgot about an Amazon package that was to be delivered today.

Received an email this afternoon saying it was delivered.

The strange part of the email was that it included a hi-res pic of the package setting by the front door!
He took the pic from the right angle to include most of the 'Amazon Prime' truck.

Very nice...I like it!:)

We've gotten those for a while now. It is nice to see where the package is.

The email also included a chance to rate and compliment the driver. (which I did)

No pic of her (if it was a her)...I doubt she was a 'hot-ass' :)

They still can't read the delivery instructions...."LEAVE PACKAGE AT GARAGE DOOR".....

One of the people on my business round table has a series of Amazon delivery routes. They are rated on all sorts of things. The pictures help with this, as well as the customer rating. The more they compy, the higher the rating, the more they are paid.

The picture cannot have ANYTHING in them besides the package and the spot. Ratings are reduced if they is so much as a toe in the picture. There are all sorts of rules (address can't show, higher rating if the package is sort of hidden.

I've used those to complain that the package was on the wrong porch.

No fooking kidding. I have a low wall surrounding my front porch with a wrought iron gate that you can see through. I ay leave behind the wall out of street sight which is as easy to do as taking one step left. Dumbassess leave the package square in front of the gate. Amazon has to hire the lowest IQ's on the planet.

Any driver doesn't even need in instructions to leave a package 2 feet over and out of sight. Common sense.

Oh wait, that's an oxyMORON for sure.

Would be easier to just steal it...and not take the pic.

I request delivery days to be the same as my days off, and they constantly deliver early. C'mon! I prefer UPS. Maybe that's just me.

I thought you were going to talk about Amazon Prime's new 7-10 Day Free Shipping  It's been like that for over a month now here. No matter what the item is. Their new policy is 1-2 day shipping "from the time they process the order". I've heard it's still 1-2 days if you have a distribution center in your city. Oh well, most things can be found locally for the same price or cheaper anyway. Done with Amazon until they fix their shipping problem.

Yesterday I got another free product shipment from Amazon. This is the 3rd time this year. In the past I ordered one of an item and they sent 2, this time they sent 3, and it wasn't a cheap item. On a couple of occasions I tried to return something and they just refunded the money and told me to keep it.
Interesting business model they have there.

She has two hats...the other one says 'Prime'

Where is her scanner and pens/labels/etc? Not lifting within the core strength zone. Hands are not even under the box. She's about the drop someone's delivery. Modifying and altering your uniform is not allowed at all in company rules. Definitely ordered it several sizes too small. Hair too long and likely to get caught in sliding belt system, scalping her. Out of OSHA compliance. Definitely not fit enough to drive a manual delivery truck.

She will probably end that first day cut bruised burnt and way behind schedule.

They make up for it in volume.

I think the pics are for pretty much anything delivered by Amazon delivery folks. It's a nice touch that I like.
