Funny how universal it is. We were checking into a hotel in Portugal on 5/4 and as the bellhop was helping us with our bags he said, "May the 4th be with you".

I thought it pretty random until I noticed my wife's Darth Vader ID tag.

It is kinda strange how many movies have a catch phrase in them that become park of the culture. I guess it is a sign of movie being a hit, ans opposed to the multitude of movies that are very forgettable.

The movie Casablanca has lots of quotes that are now part of our language and phrases. Of course Shakespeare has lots of lines that are often repeated and most people have no idea they are quoting Shakespeare.

Of course the funniest movie of them all, Blazing Saddles has more great one liners and quotable lines than any other movie.

Glen, there are a lot of lines in that movie that would never make it into a movie made today.

I like "May the 5th be with you" more.
Although liquor is not my thing.

It definitely ranks right up there with Caddy Shack.

I like May Sith better. For some reason everyone is drinking Mexican beer and eating guacamole.

Everybody but people from Mexico, at least here. They have no idea why we are so fascinated with May 5. Excuse to drink I tell them like St. Pats day.

We are deep into SW geekery at my house.
