Know any Civil Eng students that wants/needs an internship?
colleges are distance learning.
people do not seem to want to do any interning this summer. not around here. I am going to be crushed under a load of work starting Mid June. (unless I promote out of this office) I cant even find any kid that wants to put a big gold star on their future resume!! I have an opening. hate to waste the spot this summer.

Mechanical Engineering, he's looking, had a few in person interviews locally. Nothing sewn up yet. Competition is steep here.

Kids still want to work? My nephew interned at a big construction co building our rail. He worked 40 hours a week and the regular engineers said he was lucky, they worked 60+ hours a week and got no overtime. That life was not for him and he applied to Pearl Harbor Shipyard after he got his CE. Of course he was brought up that way as his dad and mom were gov't workers, fireman and teacher.
