are the cows trained to follow a truck, that normally feeds them?

how are they cooperating? last time I helped a rancher they followed me in a truck that had a siren on it. it was pretty cool to help.

We were pushing them in. Her on foot, me on the quad.

We have pretty quiet cows and once you get the lead cow going, the herd follows... usually.
