do you look across the country and wonder about regional fast food?

i have friends that visit and they show up at my place smelling like In and Out Burger. they have to stop and get loaded up on it. if i pick them up at the airport, i KNOW i am taking them there first.

me, i get to Phoenix, it means i am pulling in and buying a Whataburger with green chili. spicy ketchup please.

but, i have never had a White Castle or Krytals burger. i want to try one someday. i see them occasionally in the frozen food aisle, but no thanks. i think they are expanding. i heard there is one in vegas. "someday" might happen. it is a curiosity thing. i am not a fast food person at all.

Never had a White Castle either. My friend from Kentucky loves those silly little burgers. We have Kewpee and Happy Daz but I still prefer Wendy's pretzel bacon pub burger in a double. I go to Happy Daz in the summer because they have a cruise in on Wednesdays.

My favorite burger is still a Wendy's Classic single.
Culvers Butterburger Deluxe is a close second.

I was never able to get any backing for my plan to open "Ohio Boiled Vegetables" restaurants next to "Kentucky Fried Chicken. " I don't know why.

I used to be a fast food coinsure before I was married and would certainly try to hit up new chains while traveling

Thankfully I eat better now, Whataburger Ketchup is the best, the sell it at local groceries here.

There’s a white castle in Scottsdale now if you want to try it. We got them once, and I prefer whataburger or in n out.

Never had Krystal's. White castle, she (Chicago) likes, is a microwave slider. Her son no longer goes to McD's. I wonder why. He likes Whataripoff now.

I've had the White Castle in Vegas down on Fremont St. Nothing to write home about, don't think I'd order it again. For some reason I can't pass up a Cracker Barrel at mealtime. The closest one (and I think only one in California) is in Victorville. Otherwise just outside Phoenix is the one i usually stop at.
