Can you use a Shark Bite fitting? They are awesome for repairs in tight spaces.

Shark Bite could be an easy solution for this one joint. This one joint is for a pot filler that goes up the wall behind the stove. Unfortunately, the wall is on top of a foundation but there is 6" of space below the joint but only 1" of space behind it.

I didn't realize that shark bite connected to copper - I thought is was only for PEX. I will be making my 100th trip to Home Depot today and I will see what they've got.

I’ve used them a lot, super handy for tight spaces or repairing a wet copper pipe. Just make sure you still sand the pipe like you are going to sweat it.

Thanks! I do that.
