Ram bent door hinge. Diy fix? Ram is making a clunk sound when closing the door. Looking at the hinges, the bottom one seems pulled out a little. New hinge or diy fix of the old one? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1623010865.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1623010865.jpg |

Looks like the lower one is out of plane with the pins/ rollers. I'd replace it. |

Without seeing the other side's hinge, I'd say this one is bent here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1623014383.jpg Can you take it apart and straighten out the lower portion? |

I don't feel that confident that I could bend them back and have a long term fix. New latch is 60 bucks from the dealer. Thanks guys |

Usually the clunks come from the bumpy detent oil the roller grease the bumps and squirt oil in all the pivots |
|
White grease on the detent notches fixes the clunk on my silverado. |
