Must have been one of those standing start to a mile runs? Interesting to see him pull supercars...hell of a build. Noticed a tail wind at the start...had to help.

That was awesome to watch. Owner and builder seemed like a cool guy as well.

I have seen that video and I have always had a love of the C2 and early C3's.
You know.... when I look at the 71 Vette I have next to the 996 coupe.... I lust for driving the
71. It is a POS. It shakes, rattles, makes a lot of noise going over pot holes and is just not a very
well built sports car but I love it.
America tried to compete with Europe in the 60's and did alright.
Anyone looking for a 71 silver 350 4sp ragtop with a lot of HP.... get a hold of me.
Too much TLC with those old classics.

Byron...
I have pics posted on the CorvetteForum. User name is the same as here.
I will never get rid of the silver ragtop. Every where I go people from 8 to 80 give me a thumbs up.
They don't know it has to have a metal pan underneath it. They just see an iconic beautiful American Sports car and they love it. Metal bumpers, little ducktail working on the back. Beautiful exhaust report. My Daughter says it looks like a cartoon because of the really long front end.
Not a reliable car but I am in love with it.
