Old portable dishwasher

We have an ancient Maytag portable dishwasher that is easily 25 yrs old if not older. It works great, albeit it is loud. It gets the dishes clean and that's what counts IMO, besides keeping me from having to do them or, heaven forbid, my wife.
The connector to the faucet is wearing a tad. Recently is started spraying a fine spray of droplets out the aerator holes. I took it off and cleaned it in Lime Away and this is the result:

While cleaning I was trying to get the thread adapter off it and well, it started to collapse the threads, so I stopped. I got it threaded into the faucet but am not sure I want to trust the threads to hold under the load of on/off with the washer hooked up.
I've looked on-line for adapters, but they aren't looking like what I have.

Any ideas of where to find this adapter?

The model # of the dishwasher is MDC4100AWX if that's any help.

Thanks for any help.

You probably need something like this...

Faucet to Hose adapter

You can usually get them locally at Home Brew supply stores

Yes, there is a REAL hardware store in a neighboring city. Guess I might have to make a trip.

Yes, dad911, that is the part. The problem I have with it is mine looks substantially different than their picture on the bottom side where it mates to the connector.

Maybe it doesn't matter?

Yeah, that's another thing I have a problem with. I guess if I amortize the cost over how long it should last it isn't so bad. I hate to think the cheap ones I've found on amazon and ebay are made out of plastic, but I think they are given that they are as cheap as chips as they say.

Yes, that would be the coupler adapter to faucet fitting I need as that is what was collapsing when I was trying to separate them.
