I can live without Broadway plays for another year. Or ten. |
Stats came out today. 70% of Canadians have had one shot, 20% have had both.

I caved in to peer pressure and shaming by the vaxxed sheeple and got my first shot of the Pfizer.
Now I have second thoughts about the second shot, and I would rather leave it at that, which I believe is already ~85% efficiency. That is already higher than the J&J single shot. By the way, why would we not be called fully vaccinated with 1 shot of Pfizer if efficiency is already higher than J&J? Also, if I already had COVID, would the first shot not be closer to a second shot in terms of boosting the immune response? I still have serious concerns about the spike protein getting produced in our system and spreading in all organs, not just injection site. It is well established now that spike protein is the toxin causing the COVID vascular disease. Anyways, I will probably get my second dose, just for that ‘fully vaccinated’ label. It is a really sad reality to be forced to inject ourselves experimental mRNA with unknown long term effects, just to be free to live in society again. |

Got my first shot (Pfizer) in April. Zero symptoms. Was originally scheduled to have my second shot in August, but took advantage of the opportunity to bring it forward and closer to home. I had my second shot yesterday, Moderna). From the time I stepped out of my car to when I unlocked it again to leave was 20 minutes. That included a 15 minute wait afterwards. The staff was polished and efficient.
Then two hours later I climbed onto the tractor to mow hay in 30 + degree heat. It didn't help that the mower was getting clogged in one corner of the field, so the job took twice as long as it should have. I was not at my finest by four o'clock. Better this morning, but I was back on the tractor again for almost an hour and this time I'm feeling it. Just a sore arm and I am wondering how much is due to the vaccine and how much is heat exhaustion. Such fun. It seems the border with the rest of Canada opens today. Infection rates for those who are fully vaccinated is reported to be. 05% of all cases. We'll see. Best Les |
