Interesting show.

One of our 'local legends' Ken Brenn, was interviewed.

Garage
I've caught a couple episodes. Interesting to see how some of the tracks have just gone back to nature.

Quite an education.

Never knew Paterson had a speedway.

Yes, the whole 1st season. I'm not into roundy round racing at all, but the stories, events and characters that were associated with them, always pulls me in. A+ entertainment. One particularly good story is from JR himself, not from an old racetrack, but from a small go-cart track on his property.

In his younger days he would host an informal gathering on Saturday afternoons at his place for family, friends for go-cart racing with complementary beer. One evening 2 women started rubbing tires, cutting the other one off during the preliminary heats. As the evening wore on, more beers were consumed and in the main heat, one ran the other up, off the curve and a fist fight with hair pulling ensued! A bunch of guys ran over and had to pull them apart!
