Pocket Knives - Legit?

Have a look. Prices are very low. I placed an order before researching. Looks like a Chinese scam so I sent a polite email asking to cancel my order. They replied quickly and refunded my PayPal account as requested without issue.

So, anyone do business with them? Not much info available.

If it seems too good to be true...
In the past when I've looked at knives, I've inevitably found that (at least with Benchmade) there's list price, then there's most of the online sources which are less than list price but similar, and then there's places that advertise a lot less than those. That last batch is BS and avoided by me.

And that seems to be what this is. Once I realized that, I was surprised they so quickly and politely responded with agreement and action to cancel my order. If a scam or counterfeiter I wouldn’t have expected that.

If it is a scam they would be smart to honor cancellations.

You've only got around 60-90 days to run these scams before the flood of complaints reaches a level where your payment processor shuts you down.

They want to stay off the radar as long as possible and that means keeping chargebacks low.

What SM said. I had gotten a great deal on Costa sunglasses once from the Costa website.

Saw another great deal (too good to be true) a couple of years later and ordered a few pair. Even though they were supposed to be 2 different styles I recieved 2 identical pair of cheap China sunglasses. Lesson learned.

It’s a scam Shopify site. Shopify makes it Waaaaayyyy too easy to set up a slick website and take money. Like everyone said, they operate until the volume of complaints gets them shutdown by their payment processors.

i'm too much of a hand wringer to enter my CC into some suspicious website.

despite the refund, they now have your CC info..exp date, that 3 digit number in back, etc.

Wrong. I used PayPal. They have nothing but my email address. I fell off the turnip truck long ago.

straight GENIUS!! (damn, i just misspelled Genius) - but i was really talking in General. most people would jump on a good deal, and tap in those digits ASAP.
