1) Yes. I think it would work well with a filmclip for your car ad.

2) Yes. It's a lot closer to the mark.

3) It works, better engine recordings etc as you mentioned, would also improve it.

Let us know how you get graded and your instructor's comments.

You're getting there but it needs more POWER!
It may be worthwhile presenting it with an outline of the videoclip you would use it with.
Let us know how you get on

Glad to hear that I'm on the right track sort of speak...

More Power!? - I'm beginning to sense a pattern here..... ;)

Yeah an outline would be a good idea. I'm thinking something about we watch the owner of the car parking and leaving it, and then the camera slowly zooms in on the engine - We then watch the engine "come back to life" and the Porsche goes for a wild and POWERfull ride just for it's own pleasure....

Cheers and thanks!
Thomas :)

Hi All

Once again I would like to thank you for your great help with this project, and I'll make sure to post the result when I get it in January.

Best regards

Petal: I hope you include a copy of this thread with your submission, I am sorry I "came to the table" so late. Two guys, both about 50, tooling down a dark country road at midnight, radio on low playing 70s rock. One turns to the other and says "Jerry..Quick!! How old are we RIGHT NOW?" Jerry turns toward the questioner, a grin pasted to his face...You get the idea.....

Sadly, like some of the others, I do not feel the current crop of Porsche autos has the same "soul" of the earlier models. There was a sound, a feeling of driving something that was alive. It sang to you, and begged for you to sing back, either in voice or through the instruments of throttle and clutch.

Hope you ace it!! BTW..There ARE research grants for educational purposes. If you are to research this subject further, you might just need a test subject to drive...<G>

Hi All

Sorry for the late reply, but I just wanted to follow up on the outcome of all this.

I got the grade 10 (The system goes: 00, 03, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13), which here in Denmark is considered a fine grade, so I am very satisfied with the result.

I was told that one of the major reasons for the good result was the communication and great feedback I have had with and from you. So once again, thank you very much for your kind participation in this project of mine.

Oh, and Moneyguy1, I did include a copy of this thread…. Of course :)

And last, things are slowly returning to something one can call normal life in my family, since the loss of my dear mother – May she rest in peace.

With kind regards and thanks!
Thomas Jeppesen :)

The loss of a parent is always hard. Try and remember her in happy moments you shared.

Glad you got a good grade. Now start scheming on how to finance a 911 for yourself ;)
