Meanwhile, San Jose wants to tax people who legally own guns and require them to buy insurance. Do you think the criminal would have been deterred from possessing a gun due to that law? Nope. Is it possible the homeowner might have been defenseless if they were deterred by the unconstitutional burdensome tax?
