Automobile Catalog - Catalog of Cars since 1945

Stumbled across this website today. Someone may have already posted it ? but I don't recall seeing it before. Kind of interesting. Someone has put a LOT of work into it:
The VIN search doesn't work for 911............ vins.
Have to use vehicle lookup.

There's another site and when I can remember the name I'll post it. Gives the history and background of most all cars.

It's a good effort, and useful if you have a specific vehicle you want to know more about. But it's not good if you are just browsing. I looked up a couple of names that I didn't recognize and got a page of specifications and photos, plus a photo and a link to a page about a totally unrelated car. There is no information about the company that built the vehicle nor information about the nation of origin.

Patrick, on my '74 it gave quite a bit of detailed info re: specs, performance, etc. I really didn't look at much else.

Zeke, post the link if you find, remember it....
