It's an easy medical answer (as it is in our country), but politics and money are at play (as they are in our country). Plus there is the added complication that hundreds of athletes have trained for years and this may be their only chance.
This is a tough one, and I don't have an answer.

And what about the 22 Winter Olympics in China? Should free world countries boycott it, because of the human rights abuses, and Uighur genocide, in China?

wasn't the original spirit of the olympics to pause and put aside world events (fights and disagreements) and get together for good hearted physical competition?

faack even Nazi Germany was invited.. Jesse Owens story stuff.
