We've had a lot of rain here in SW Ohio over the past 2 weeks too. The tomatoes are forming and I'm worried about them getting blossom end rot "disease" (it's not really a disease, more like a disorder) and ruining the crop.

Looking at my lawn apparently I am now a mushroom farmer ☹️ . So wet they are popping up all over the place . Forecast is rain every day through Sunday .

I had a herd of frogs troop across the driveway. I pull my 911 out of the garage and windshield fogs up......

Our local May & June rain total is just shy of 8 inches. July may double that and my county is among the lowest totals in jersey.

Mine was at 80 ppm. I'll be checking in my normal tests this weekend, along with everything else. Time for a "full check".

We had a localized squall today at the shop. Rained hard enough that I couldn't see a car in the parking lot for an hour. We have a sunken loading dock, probably 5 feet deep, and 6 doors wide...6 20 foot doors wide...

It filled up. In just over an hour. Yes, runoff from the parking lot and roof and all, but still, that is an impressive amount of rain for one building.

In fact, I just did the math, it's 15,000 cubic feet of water. That's 4 acre-inches. In about an hour.

Got almost 9” in the gauge at my place in central Texas in the last two weeks. The dirt road is washed out just a half mile further up the way. The county was working all yesterday on it and is back at it today.

Since January we have had 62" of rain. Enough....

Driving home from the "ranch" yesterday. Got a power wash for my muddy van after driving on the dirt road to get to the black top.

We don't see that dark except on the rarest occasions in NE Ohio. I remember seeing that during my years in Houston a good handful of times.

Yep, sometimes the rain here can turn the day to night.

We had a quick sprinkle yesterday, but my wife hit a strong storm and some high water while taking the grandkids back to their house.

It was clear-ish last night. THis morning was a little cloudy, but then it cleared up and is only partly cloudy, but right now, we've got a dark cloud over head and I've heard some thunder. I still see patches of blue sky.

Still, I'm not as bad off as I was a month or two ago. There was 3-5 days where I'd parked the boxster in a bad spot, and it was essentially stuck until things dried out a bit.
