Oregon Dunes fun in my KRX 1000 Side-x-Side UTV
KRX is running great in the sand dunes, my new paddle tires are working out awesome. Guy I'm riding with traded in his sons ATV on a new honda 450R unit, and traded in his side by side for a new polaris XP Pro Turbo with 185 horsepower. $30K for a used side by side but they gave him $15K for his old unit. The turbo is a hoot to drive in the sand with gobs of power, makes my 115 hp KRX feel like a overweight SUV suburban in comparison to it. Couple more days in the sand and then headed home later this week. Been windy so the sand is butter smooth. Nice big dunes and hills to carve up too!

That looks really fun.
My son and I spent 4 days in South Dakota with our XP1000 Razr riding trails two weeks ago. There are 700 miles of them where we were in the Black Hills. The only real issue is a lot of them are for 62" or narrow rigs and mine with the BFG's and bead locks is over 70" wide. The plus side is my Razr is plated so we could ride it on the roads. |

As I look longingly at the new to me dirt bike in my garage.
Trails are closed due to extreme fire danger... |
