2006 Harley Softail - longevity
Looking at a 2006 Softail with 27k miles, FI. Appears to be well maintained.
Any critical items to look out for? Upgrades that should have been done along the way? |

Some guys who own them will chime in shortly but the short answer is that they run forever. I know of several people who have put mega-miles on modern Harleys.

My ‘06 Electra Glide had about 40k miles when I sold it to a buddy in 2018 and other than tires/oil needed nothing.
It’s still running strong, Paging Jeff H. |

Think 06 was the last year for the plastic cam chain tensioners.

Service history would be good to have, also the price should be dirt cheap..........

Is $6500 dirt cheap? Paint is immaculate.
