Mobil1 vs. Walmart Full synthetic

I hate going into Walmart but when it comes to the dollar they are cheaper on consumables. I have 3 GMC vehicles I maintain and I have been using Mobil 1 in all 3. So in Wally world today and compared the cost and labels of both oils. Does anyone have definitive proof that Mobil 1 is superior? I will always use the AC Delco filter with the anti drain back valve but at $52 per vehicle for just oil, it really bites when I have to do 2 at the same time.

What vehicles are they , I mean, I'm not going to Run Wallymart oil in a Porsche..
But I just might for a GMC beater car

It's all in the eye of the beholder

If the Walmart branded oil meets your vehicles spec's go ahead and use it . It is made/packaged for them by a major oil manufacturer . If you want proof that it's good or bad run it for 3K and pull an oil sample and have it analyzed . Now you have solid proof one way or the other .

This is completely correct. I would bet a large amount of money that it's equal to brand name oils, including Mobil1.

I'de argue you'd have to run it for a couple of flushes so your sample doesn't contain any contamination from the previous brand in it.. eg to average out it needs a couple of flushes of the same brand.

A lot of videos of comparison tests. It performs well in all of the ones I have seen. Not necessarily the best, but within a gnats ass of major brands.

All are 5.3 ltr engines. 2018, 2016, and 2014. 2 trucks and a suburban. Thanks for the replies.

Warren oil is OEM branded to many brands. It is also Amazon Basic oil. It is very good oil.

The question is how does it compare to sinopec that walmart exclusively carries

I agree , a sample size of one is not sufficient for data analysis .

When they do an oil analysis aren't the testing against an industry standard to determine what's in the oil and its properties? I have to go back and look at my blackstone report. And as long as brand "A" and brand "B" are the same API spec, how would the test ultimately know which brand is being tested? When I sent my sample for my Highlander in, I told them it's "whatever Toyota puts in the car when it's new"
