Wow! The SEC just got bigger
20 Teams. This is going to be interesting, and competitive beyond belief!

Don't mind that announcement, I was watching Austin news. Typical stuff, I fell for it today.

Lol!

I do not understand this desire to move. When they are the top of the conference consistently in football and make the playoffs, why move to a conference that will prevent that?
I’m an Iowa State guy, so while it hurts the Big 12, it would put ISU on the top based on our current football program. What do OU and Texas have to gain? |

$$$$ will not go far when they don’t even make the conference championship….

Oklahoma will carry their weight. It damn sure won't hurt recruiting. They have been a premiere offensive power for years. Defense has looked like a bunch of grade schoolers. Defense should be better this year with high hopes of a deep run.
Football facilities are top notch. Basketball has little life. Always a contender in softball and new facilities on the way. Baseball plays in a high school type place. Men and women gymnastics are perennial contenders. That added money will help with the facility upgrades. Honestly, the fan base is sick of the Big 12 and the mostly crappy home games. The biggest game of the year is Texas and it is at a neutral facility. Iowa State has been a silver lining the last few years, but overall the conference hasn't been very good. |

Clemson and South Carolina should swap conferences. Bit of a derailment but in the same spirit.

I was wrong, I must have just caught a snippet and posted. Sorry about that.
It would be interesting, you know, Florida or Georgia has Alabama and Auburn every year. Shove the west to the east by adding more schools. Not that Gator fans want more competition, but all other teams, in other conferences, can fold tent once and for all. It saves not only their fans money by canceling collegiate sports all around, but also solves the lack of entertainment within those conferences. |
