I love me some Bonnie Raitt. Sure are a lot of 50 year remembrances going on in music.

She's terrific! Saw her a few years ago at Jazzfest and she was amazing. Great voice and playing too!

I saw her a few times in the 80's, the last time was with Taj Mahal. She's always great!
I think I've told this story here before. I was working on "Nutty Professor" over at Universal Studios. Eddie Murphy was in so much makeup and the latex "fat suit" that they kept the stage at 55 degrees. I stepped outside to get some warm sun and an early 1970's Mercedes pulls up at the next stage. Bonnie gets out (you couldn't miss the red hair with the white streak) and proceeds to start pulling guitar cases out of the back. Apparently they were using the stage for rehearsals for her upcoming tour. I asked her if she needed some help and she smiled and replied "Honey, I've been lugging these instruments around for years by myself, I think I can manage but thanks anyway!". A serious "I'm not worthy" moment in my life!

Another fun fact. She used to be married to Michael O'Keefe who played Danny Noonan in "Caddyshack".

Oh my, Bonnie. She played Wolf Trap outside DC every August for 10 years. Get a lawn seat, bring a snack, some wine and a little herb. Nothing could be better.
So a stand up Bonnie. Voice and slide and a stoned Bonnie And down to it, true Bonnie

Baz, we all have our favorites. I remember buying Streetlights and being blown away from the first song, this one. There several artists that I have every album, Bonnie is one
